Brushes

So I’ve had this “Brushes” app for a while now, and I think it may be the best drawing app in the app store. It has a nice brush selector with a spacing option. It also has a very good color picker with options like brightness/darkness, transparency, and shortcuts to black and white. (which I use very often.)
What really makes this app great is that it has layers. You can have up to 4 layers, and it is really easy to manage them. There are a ton of awesome techniques that can be done with this app.

Here are some pictures I have made from scratch with this app:

Here are pictures of some of the options:

Also, another thing is that if you go to the address that it tells you on the app, it can take you to a bank of all your drawings, (If you have your iDevice on) and with the Brushes app for your computer, can fast-replay you drawing them.

This app was $4.99, and I’d say it’s worth it if you like drawing or want to draw. 🙂

Issues with restoring (iPod Touch)

Just today, I wanted to unjailbreak my itouch, because I had about seven pages of apps and everything was getting a little too cluttered. So I synced, and restored, and synced again like you would normally do.
Now, the first thing is, even though I backed up my music, it didn’t restore it, and I had to go and put in all my music from before. The second thing is that whenever I put back the stuff from my iPod before, it randomized the positions of all of my apps. I don’t why this happened, or if it happened to anyone else, but if you could offer some insight for future restores/syncs that’d be cool. 🙂

Hello!

Hey everyone! This post marks the start of my blog!
I will take requests on free iphone app reviews at the moment, but paid app review requests will come soon once I get ads up.

For now I will review stuff I already have.
